5!

It was 5 years today that Jason and I sealed the deal. I remember just being on cloud nine feeling like I had won big time with such a handsome man by my side. Of course I said he was the "whole package" but I hadn't even caught a thousandth of what the whole package truly was! We were just young lovers and still are but we have learned a lot and changed for the better. I am 100% still smitten and relieved by the fact that I lucked out. BIG TIME!

This year Jason planned a day in the big city AKA Calgary haha. We have been dying to get the chance to do some furniture shopping for the house, just the two of us. Remi was being watched by Mama P so we jumped in the car and made a day of it. It was so fun! We found some gems and wandered around the stores just dreaming up plans. This week we take possession of our house. It doesn't feel real but I'm excited to make this big step in our lives. Can't wait to make it official.

We ended the night with dinner at Firestone and then headed to our soon-to-be home, looking around for the millionth time. We set up a desk, moved in a plant and called it quaint. Making a home was always part of the 5-year plan so we are on schedule. ;) Can't wait for the years to come.
